Mother And Child Reunion

This blip is for Cailleach, her Co Workers and everyone who has sent such kind words regarding my baby blackbird.  Here he is being fed by its mother this evening. Apologies for the dreadful quality of the image but thought that you might like to see his/her progress. 

This wee baby was initially being fed by its father but I've not seen him for about a week and thankfully the mother has taken on the responsibility. I hope nothing awful has happened to him. The mother has problems with her primary wing feather. Due to the angle of the photo, you cannot really see it but one is completely at a right angle to her body (you can see the shadow of it). She doesn't seem to be bothered by this abnormality and is doing a superb job of feeding two hungry babies. The other baby is far more advanced in its development and has full tail feathers.
