The taste and smell of summer...

A little treat after payday - my first strawbs of the year. English of course. And they are delumptious. 

I bought them to have after my dinner but as I was washing them quite a few seemed to disappear. Odd that.

I love everything about strawberries - the way they look, taste, smell and the lovely texture as you bite into one and when it melts in your mouth. Mmmm... a few more may disappear before the evening is through!
