The cruise ship trade on the Clyde gets busier every year.

I missed the Queen Mary 2 which spent Thursday at Greenock but left , apparently, with a spectacular fireworks display last night.

This morning however there was another huge liner in the port , looming out of the morning sea mist as I drove to Dunoon.
