Evening Robin

The sun appeared for such a short time today I was really lucky to get this blip.  (S)he had a drink and then seemed as curious of what I was doing as I was of him/her and hopped about from urn to trellis to tree and back again a few times. 

Earlier, Lauren & I made some marzipan flowers ready to decorate Mum's birthday cake. She'll be 70 on Monday.  Amy, a close family friend came up in time for lunch; we had a short swim and drove to Jamie's in St Albans for dinner.  It's been lovely to catch up with her.
