Safety First

This is how you keep from falling off the roof of a seven story building. You have your mate sit behind you and hold your foot. I am sure this particular maneuver is on about page 1029 of every Health and Safety manual that's ever been printed.

This man is replacing tar stripping that's fallen away. I have no idea how it's done elsewhere, but the roofs of all the buildings I can see are covered in tar matting which has been heated and hence glues itself to the roof. The stuff that's being replaced here, is above the window of someone's kitchen
