Traffic Island planting

Yesterday's bright sweatshirt was much too hot for the work on the traffic island, but I needed it with the orange vest as well. It's a dangerous business standing in the middle of Dogcorner these days. We safely weeded and spruced up our island perennials that amazingly made it through the winter. Then added a few white wave petunias, did some iris splitting and transplanting, and mulched it all to finish the job. That's our Dogcorner Cottage in the background.
