Gypsy Pirate Dancers plus Ano

The group of ladies that Technophobe sings with were performing at Shipston-on-Stour's Annual Wool Fair today, so we went there as groupies. The origin of the word "Shipston" is Sheep Wash Town, and it is a lovely little market town on the edge of the Cotswolds.
There are all sorts of events going on in the town's streets, which are closed for the day. This was the Gypsy Pirate Dancers plus one lovely old chap from the audience who decided to join them for their entire display. He was having a great time, and so did everyone watching - he they received a great applause at the end.
We have seen at least some of these ladies previously in Stratford, but they were belly dancing before - it was a bit too chilly to get your belly out today. Some of the sheep who had been shorn looked decidedly cold and forlorn after being fleeced.
My extra photo today is of Technophobe and the ladies that she sings with. They put on a great performance (as they always do) and we had a lovely afternoon. Lunch was lamb and mint sauce baps eaten whilst watching the performers.
