Out of a dark concrete canyon into the light

This is in central Milton Keynes. These plucky trees have been planted in a concrete canyon - an underpass for the main road - but have struggled up into the light. I have accentuated the effect deliberately to emphasise the contrast between the dark brutal stonework and the elegant trees. Maybe it matches my mood today!
