Castle Campbell, Dollar Glen

With Mr MC's  conference all finished, we set out this morning for Kinross to spend a night at the Green Hotel..  For most of the journey we were accompanied by driving rain but eventually the skies cleared mid afternoon - perfect for our friends to take us to Dollar to see Castle Campbell.  This  forbidding looking fortress is located at the head of  the deep leafy gorge that is Dollar Glen.
The picture  that I've chosen  doesn't offer  the best
view of the castle  but I just love the big sky and wide panoramic view of the surrounding countryside.
