Lathkill Dale

We visited the wonderful Lathkill Dale in the Peak District with friends this weekend, and we had a splendid time.
On Saturday, after a quick lunch we walked along the beautiful Lathkill dale. Forget-me-nots, red campion and cow parsley were all in flower and lined the pretty path next to the river, this combined with the lush green of the newly-leafed trees made for a stunning walk.  We were also lucky enough to have long, clear views of grey wagtails and dippers flitting around the waterside.
