Chatsworth Selfie!

B. and I spent a fab day at Chatsworth House in Derbyshire on Sunday.  Surprisingly we were allowed to use cameras inside the house, which was a great way of observing and capturing some of the beautiful interiors and works of art.

I felt this photo summed up the day as the bottom of the impressive and well known water cascade can just be seen through the window behind us. (see extra photo for a fuller view of the cascade). I have also included an interior shot looking through the bannisters of the main staircase and a photo of some of the party of 'steam punk' enthusiasts who came en masse for a picnic in the grounds.
