My tern

Lots of photos of terns on blip at the moment, and no wonder. Such elegant yet fierce little birds. Here's mine, anyway.
The Leith Harbour birds are well settled in, now; I think the dock-side nesting colony is for breeders only, so I reckon these are teenagers pairing up on the jetty. A male with a delicious fish (think it might be a capelin) tempting in some young flibbertigibbet.
