Black Tray Man

Spent the day in Aviemore, speaking at the annual APSE conference. Audience nicely warmed up after a great keynote speech by the Minister for Transport and Islands, Derek Mackay.

Tour of the stands is always a must: the internal ones had cakes and the outside ones had giant trucks.

My chums at Zero Waste Scotland were providing some lols at their stand with their "draw an ideal waste manager" competition. One of the trickiest things to recycle is the black plastic trays in which microwave meals are sold. So this is Black Tray man. He comes in your window at night to rescue your black trays. And like all good policy makers, he has a carrot and a stick. And flowers.

I'm not holding my breath for the win.
