Serenity at Dawn

I love the feel of this image; reminding me of how it was on the beach this morning. It was a deep feeling, peaceful, serene and utterly magical.

A healing feeling too. It's exactly one year today since I moved out of my house, so that it could be repaired after the 2011 earthquakes. I'm still homeless, but there are 2 mitigating reasons why I'm not downhearted. I've had some wonderful help from family & friends, with really nice places to stay. Plus, the longer it's taking, the better the plans are for the repair; new cladding, new roof, new windows and a complete refit inside. It'll be like a new house! Not sure when though. Maybe another 3 - 4 months.
