Curlew Woods

On the final stretch of the drive home from the airport last night two things were noticeable - all the trees have burst vibrantly into leaf at last - and the strong sun & rain I've heard about means we now live in a meadow (where a lawn should be).
Taking pooch out this morning it was also clear that the wild garlic and the forget-me-nots are out in force - a lovely aroma fills the air.

Over the Bank Holiday weekend our village holds a large scarecrow competition (super annoyingly we can't take part as we're 50 yards outside the boundary) - but it's well supported. The extra shot is the one that we liked best (we're guessing this years theme was 'Talent')
