Heron

Busy morning.  Dental appointment and filling this afternoon - I still feel as if I've no left lip lol!  Came home via the Golf Links Pond and found this Heron. I took lots of shots and have chosen this one because it shows his chest feathers well.  He flew off but I only captured his legs and feet - see one of my extras.  I thought it was interesting because it shows how deep his feet must have been mud. There was also a swan sunning himself and he is my other extra.
