Joy of the waterside

Visited the Royal Southampton Yacht Club this evening for the AGM of the Yachting Journalists' Association - and of course dinner overlooking the marina at Southampton's Ocean Village.
Fortunately the business meeting was fairly short and mostly concerned election of officers and a few sailing and publication issues for which the YJA will have a voice.
Eating at Ocean Village is always a treat and a sunshine over the marina is the icing on the cake. So with the business over it was great to get on with the meal, and it was lovely to be joined by partners of some committee members.
