Aquamarine/Nanna K's Day

Faces of Fiona #62

A big hug by a 2 year old can make your day, right? We were all glad to see one another today after almost 3 weeks. Oh my goodness, there is potty training going on, many more words and conversation, and just pure delight in everything we did today.
Had a little trip to the Burke museum and the bookstore and lots of doll and puzzle play and even a nap (which included all 3 of us today!) Boppa is reading "There was an old lady who swallowed a fly" to Fiona in his lap (many times!) and every time they got to "the spider who swallowed the fly", Fiona would sing "The itsy bitsy spider went up the water spout" which she is doing here. :-)
I wanted to get a photo of her sister Tatum who filled in for me with the last 2 "Faces of Fiona" tuesdays #60 and #61, (thank you, hihowareyaspray!) so this is what I could manage on bringing Fiona home --much commotion and playing so Mom got in the picture too. We are very happy to see Tatum too and are looking forward to her piano recital thursday. All worth coming back from the island to this rainy cold traffic crazy city.
