Rain, rain, go away..

We have some fairly major flooding here in Murchison today. By 7am this morning I believe we had received 130mm and it has continued to rain all day.
At 6am our volunteer fire service (as part of emergency services) was called out to help with sandbagging the main street and some of the businesses and houses when one of the local creeks burst its banks.

Here is T, one of my senior students and a volunteer fireman, doing his bit to control the traffic.

See - reflections can even occur in dirty floodwaters.

I waited until this afternoon to blip this (although it was taken this morning) in the hope that the predicted snow might arrive and I'd be able to blip that instead - but it's still on its way.
