Virginia Spiderwort

Quick shot of the first blooms out of this spiderwort plant in the garden in Holland. They call it Eendagsbloem (Flower for one day) in Dutch or 'Mozes-in-het-biezen-mandje' (Mozes in his reed basket) because of that interesting bundle of curly threads in its hearts. Off to Leiden soon to have the MRI scan, won't be back until very late tonight and then I'll probably be too pulsed out to have a mood for commenting.
