One of those days

Have you seen the ad where everything the guy touches turns into Skittles? Well, I had one of those days, except Skittles weren't the end result.

Still, it's now the weekend, though we're being abandoned by Mme Tepeka, who's off to Dublin for a conference tomorrow and then the Women's Mini Marathon on Monday. 

In fact, tomorrow it's going to be a boys' night in as the girl child is also forsaking us to go to a birthday sleepover. Hopefully, the boy child and I will be celebrating a wonderful Arsenal win in the FA Cup Final. We're already looking forward to the non-stop eight hours of coverage that the BBC has planned before the match...
