Oliver

Today I spent most of the day at Addenbrookes hospital, first discussing various problems with the consultant and later waiting and then laying in a CT PET scanner.  Since one of these was fairly early in the morning and the other was late in the afternoon, we went into Cambridge for lunch and a visit to the Sedgwick Museum in between (Oliver is studying Geology for one of his 'A' levels and found this interesting).

During the wait for the consultation, we had coffee and Oliver was amused by my adjustable focus spectacles, which he examined in great detail and then tried on.  Today’s blip is of Oliver trying out my adjustable focus spectacles (these focus from about one and a bit metres down to about ten centimetres, so they are very good for work in this region.
