In Transition

Back in the shed today, another boat to be sanded down, then varnish inside, repaint outside. A lot smaller than the yoal, this is used for sailing, when the owner gets a chance to come up to Shetland.

After that I drove straight over to the south end of the island to pick the young one one from a party, stayed for a while then back home, a couple of glasses of wine and poached haddock for a very ate tea. Then onto cake baking (3) for tomorrow's Sunday Teas at the Farmer's Market, funds raised going to Unst fc juniors. The last cake may not make the grade, I fell asleep so it was in a bit longer than it should have, gone eleven is not the optimum time for baking cakes.

The sky is a lovely now, pale peach along the horizon with lilac grey clouds but it would all be lost on my little camera.
