Speckled wood

This speckled wood joined me in the garden today before we went up to London to see The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Nighttime, a play from the novel about an autistic boy. We'd both read the book some time ago. A brilliant high tech set which made the show. Gill had to nudge me when I started to nod off before the break, not because the play was dull but, well, when they turn the lights down and you've had a couple of beers everything becomes soporific. The boys and wags clubbed together to get us the tickets as a joint birthday present. - much nicer than stuff, of which we have enough.
