Winter has arrived

Yesterday I had lots of leaves left on this maple but rain and wind overnight has littered the ground with red and yellow star shaped leaves. They look as pretty as the ones on the tree. The sky is blue, the temperature is cold. It is 4 degrees now and the wind chill factor makes it very uncomfortable outside.

The sky tonight, when I left work, was quite different, with pretty pink and grey clouds and the moon coming up through the trees.
