Betwixt

You know that time
'twixt day and night
Not quite dark,
But not quite light
When time it seems
To stop and think
When lights in houses
Start to blink
And families sit around a meal
And through the shadows
Cats do steal
And home do go my dog and me
To figure out what's 
On for tea
