Today the girl got signed off at the hospital , they say she is healing well , though they can't explain why she seems to have developed a whole new network of surface veins. Not even near the incision site, mysterious. ' Go to A & E if it gets worse' was the surgeons advice.
The waiting room was packed today, there was a poor woman who continually puked/ coughed up into a strange latex bag. We were sent to another waiting room where one particularly fragrant patient was dispatched to a side room as so many people were heaving. All very sad but also very eye watering .
The girl and I came back to mine, the old man was meant to be working late tonight. He walked in minutes after we'd had an Indian feast for 2 delivered, we had to share it with him : (
