Garage?

Got in tonight and pleased to see me quickly turned into wails at daddy putting away the stepping stone cushions and at not being allowed milk until after dinner and not wanting dinner. After some protest (with me acknowledging that he was frustrated and wanted milk but repeating he couldn't have it until after tea) i suggested he show me the new blinds in his room and the stalemate was unblocked. After a bit of playing with closing them then opening them again and declaring it to be morning he consented to come down and climb in his high chair - then immediately demanded to get down again *rolls eyrs*

Still we persuaded him to stay and eat his pizza and some jelly and some of his easter egg and he was calm enough after tea and went to bed (in his darker room) with very little fuss in the end. Hope he sleeps well. Mike tells me he's been hard work and fractious like that all day - easily frustrated at things not doing what he wants and refusing to do anything asked of him. I do hope he gets through this stage *soon*. We just count our blessings: at least he mostly sleeps through now and bedtimes are much easier too. And at least we can laugh about it together a bit.

Was amused to spot our under stairs back hallway being used as a garage :)
