Another visit from a House Wren.. perhaps he hasn't shown his future mate a house she fancies...

This morning I watched this little Wren flit from the house on the bench that I built, to the fence, to another house on a nearby tree, hopping and singing, but no female showed up.  Perhaps those females he'd help feed twigs into the bird house on the bench haven't liked that house or the house on the tree!  I have read that a male Wren has to 'show' quite a few nesting places to a female Wren and, if one suits her taste, she'll share it with him, mate and lay a clutch of 3-10 eggs.
