This morning I spent far too long wandering around Derby city centre, with the result that I didn't get back home for my lunch until about 3. Nothing much was purchased, although not for want of trying.

S and I were going to go to the Peak District tomorrow, but I've decided that my hurt shoulder won't be improved by more climbing and have cancelled.  It's disappointing but there's no point in making it worse.  I think it's just that I've pulled something, probably from trying a lot of overhanging routes at the climbing wall on Monday, involving too much hanging on my arms and sideways lunging.  I think I'll give them a miss in future, for a good while anyway.
