Cycling in a Shop Window

Passing Tylers in Loughborough today, I saw my old colleague, Dr Guru Singh, pedalling away as fast as he could on an exercise bike, to raise funds for Tylers' charity this year: JuniorsJourney. Junior is a twin to Grace. They are 22 months old.

Junior has a condition, spastic diplegia, which prevents him becoming fully mobile. The charity aims to raise the £60,000 needed to get him and his family overseas to get the necessary surgery that can help him. He has also developed Cerebral Palsy.

So Guru, who is an unfailing fundraiser, was doing a one hour sponsored cycle in Tylers today. He summoned me in for a chat.

Nice day today, albeit blowy, and it's warmer too. Unlike yesterday. By the time I thought about going out into the garden in the evening to take a blip, it had begun to pour with rain, and the wind was howling.
