Two's Company?

The weather was beautiful this morning and I left home just after 8am to drive out to Holmfirth, thinking I'd get some big open landscapes across the moors.  It's only a half hour's drive but I could see as I got nearer that the skies were dark and grey, and when I arrived I was met with wind and rain  -  and even darker skies if that's possible.  I got wet through and blown about and all I had to show for my efforts were a few dark miserable shots.

Thankfully I could pay a quick visit to the canal on my way back (where the weather was brighter) and this trio of ducks saved the day.
