Oh gnaw!

We bought this at the weekend; a squirrel feeder.

Since the birds have their feeders we thought it only fair to give the squirrels the same, as the snails have been sliming in the chimney pots (where we normally put the peanuts).

It's taken them a few days to realise the box was there, but we came home today to find the peanuts intact and the box chewed. I thought they were meant to be clever!

The lid lifts up really easily so it's not like the hinges are stiff. We've had to prop the lid open a little in the hope that they realise how they're meant to access it.....before they chomp right through it :-0
