Lunch

A busy'ish day today. We went shopping this morning then had a cup of coffee, at home, and watched a bit of tennis whilst processing the Warwick photos from the other day.

We then went to The Black Boy near Knowle to meet the gang for lunch.  I had a very nice vegetable stroganoff and we sat and chatted till well after lunch.

On leaving the pub Ann and I went for a walk along the canal. The weather has been very windy today though drier and warmer. I took a few pics along the way.  This billy goat by the side of the tow-path seems to know where to find the tastiest food.

On return to Stratford we stopped off at Nero for a drink. Then home for some more tennis.

As a postnote: the name Black Boy could have racial overtones. In this case, according to their web site, the name is linked to King Charles II who was given the nickname by his mother due to the darkness of his skin and eyes. The nearby canal moorings is known as Black Buoy
