Across The River

A non-stop morning at the office, then an afternoon of meetings before a mad dash back to catch my train.  I had a meeting with our top boss today and got some encouraging news from him  - it’s nice to be appreciated!

Once I was home and tea was over I went out for a walk round by the river as my pedometer showed how little I had been walking around today.  It was a grey old evening, the wind had died down but the threat of rain was never far away.

Once I was back at home I had to conjure up 75 chocolate crispy cakes and a fruit loaf for the school fund raising café.

Here is a view across the River Tyne to St Mary’s Parish Church – the longest church in Scotland!  How’s that for a useless fact?
