Rodents rule

The Boss

The mother fox is ever watchful and she seems to know when I'm looking at her. She's definitely in charge.

I spent a couple of hours this afternoon helping with the repairs to a few Feast stalls. Or, really, I took notes while Colin repaired the stalls. There were a couple of downpours and we waited those out with a cup of tea and some Battenberg. I offered the cake to a couple of young French ladies who are working for a short while at the gallery where the damaged stalls were being held. They declined and I felt a little embarrassed at offering such a cake to folk who have grown up among patisseries.

Extra photo: the first member of the 2015 squadron. This year's varnish colour is lime green.
