Keep it simple

One of the perks of my job is that I can sometimes see authors promote their books at lunchtime. Today, I listened to Ken Segall talk about his time at Apple and the lessons he learnt about business through working with Steve Jobs. Mr Jobs wielded a 'simple stick'. I was given a gratis copy of the book and I've started to read it. As the book says, "simple is the child of brains and common sense". He has a point and the book should prove interesting to digest.

There are some reveals of Apple times. Apparently Mr Jobs preferred the name "MacMan" to "iMac". Not one of his best moments.

You may spy the Olympic logo on a document behind the book. This is the holder of my Olympic tickets - they've arrived!
