Senetti....

I'm just about to plant these out. They are called Senetti and come from the Canary Islands but I found these at the little market at the Post Box Cafe in Chorlton. Being from the Canary Islands they are not going to like a Manchetser winter but the guy selling them thought, and I agree, that if they are over wintered in a greenhouse or conservatory, they might come back next year. I think they are treated like a perennial in the Canary Islands while we treat them as an annual.

What attracted we to them was the wonderful profusion of purple blue iridescent flowers which, in certain lights appear shocking pink.
