Barcelona base

I can't help thinking of mylifeinahotel as I post this picture of the reception area of where I will be based in Barcelona until Saturday morning. Since my arrival this afternoon I have not ventured any further than this. Instead I have been locked in my room trying to get through some of the work that has built up since I have been out of the office on my travels. It's slow-going.

Tomorrow will be far more interesting when I join my academic pals at the conference that I am attending (which I blogged about before breakfast this morning).

Exercise today: just a small amount of walking, mostly at Gatwick airport (4820 steps).
