'Homer'

Chapman's Homer is a 1.8 tonne bronze sculpture by New Zealand artist Michael Parekowhai that has recently moved to New Regent Street. It will stay there until it can take up its permanent position outside the Christchurch Art Gallery once earthquake repairs are completed.

Homer, standing on top of a grand piano, became a symbol of resilience when he went on display after the earthquakes.
