Voyage of the Anchorites

One of the unending joys of visits to the Scottish Parliament is the fabulous public art which is on display throughout every room, corridor and gathering space.

I was drawn to this one after a meeting this morning. The subject was digital participation - but seeing this as I left, which celebrates the fishermen of the west coast of Scotland by Will Maclean, stopped me in my tracks. It felt grounding and powerful.

Tonight's event in Stirling has been about sustainability and climate change - a topic I'm sure those fisherman would have much to say on.
