The W.I.'s Centenary AGM

I didn't go to this auspicious event (although blipper JennyD did go from our W.I.) but it was streamed to our nearest cinema!
So a group of us went along and saw it live on the big screen. This is, of course, Her Majesty the Queen, giving her speech. She and Princess Anne, with Sophie, Countess of Wessex stayed for about half an hour before cutting the 100th birthday cake in the foyer of the Albert Hall.
There were three speakers, all good, but Lucy Worsley was brilliant! She has made a programme on the history of the W.I. for BBC 4, to be shown later this month.
