Poppy

A sorting out Sunday again, including in the garden. 

We have a few big ornamental poppies coming out - each lasts just a day or two. The centre of the flower looks like some bizarre sea creature in this photo. 

I've added an extra. Our House Martin's have returned (about 3 weeks ago), although still not very evident. But I noticed just the end of a tail - she must be on eggs and was turning inside the nest. And a feather floated out, so I snapped a shot quickly - hurrah !
