Mostly Six Five Oh

Taylor Electric Supply Co.

I've blipped this site a couple of times before but I think this is now goodbye to what's left of the Taylor Electric building and its ever-changing graffiti gallery.  The site has been poised for development for some time but while it was still a burned out shell it had been a great place for photographs.  The sidewalk around the site is now fenced off so you can't walk around it and the fencing has blue stuff covering it so you can't see through apart from at the corners of the block, annoying and difficult for picture taking.  The interior walls are now completely gone and there's only an exterior wall on one and a half sides left, you can see the diggers ready for work to resume tomorrow morning.

I'll keep checking in on the place from time to time, the proposal for the site is a five-story, 60,000 sq ft industrial office space with up to 5,000 sq ft of retail space.

91ºF.  Dinner from Elephant's Deli tonight, no cooking.
