I've blipped this burned out building before here about 18 months ago.  It takes up a city block in the rapidly gentrifying Eastside Industrial District.  Every time we drive past I take a look to see what's going on, today we had time to stop so I could walk the building properly.  The security gates surrounding it are all ripped open, at this point it seems pointless to put them back, but there is always the possibility of one of the walls collapsing I guess.  I kept my distance and didn't go in but with the fences mostly gone it was easier to photograph than last time.  In a doorway there was a paint can and spray paint cans abandoned by the most recent artist.  So until developers move in the place remains a graffiti gallery which I enjoy seeing.

More pix here if interested in seeing more of the site.

We headed over to the Sellwood neighborhood after this.  We always really like Sellwood, it has a nice feel, kind of like being in a village, but from the river you can see the city skyline.  Delicious lunch at Grand Central Bakery, I had the vegan soup which was white bean and fennel - so delicious that I am now going to trawl the internet to see if I can find a recipe.
