Mostly Six Five Oh

Glacé Portland

The ice was looking bad before bed last night.  Took this around 6:45 a.m. this morning and knew it would be a stay at home day.  Portland as an ice rink.  Everything so quiet, no sounds of loud garbage trucks doing the rounds like a normal Monday morning.  The street scene reminds me of the movie The Ice Storm (1997, Kevin Kline, Sigourney Weaver, Joan Allen...), not a happy movie, but a good movie.

Extra is of the ice weighted trees looming towards the windows.

Now it's nearly 2 p.m. and a thaw has begun, thank goodness.
