Travelling Light

...well, he would be if his Mum didn't fill an extra rucksack with presents for folk in Brazil.

Our boy leaving tonight for London, where he's meeting a friend - they go to Rio, via Madrid, at the crack of dawn. Then Fortaleza, then Trapiá for most of the time (where we lived for 24 years), then Natal, and back home. We'll miss him and wish them both journeying mercies (apparently a term used first in the 19th C for missionaries going on long, dangerous journeys) - but I guess we all need extra angels when we venture out of our normal routines.
