Having a drink

Had a lovely wander around Ruckle Park this morning.  What a perfect way to start a day!   A handful of campers, only one other person on the trail, and a group of elementary school children getting ready for an exploration of the park just as I was leaving.  
Another hot day, and I was thankful for the shade in the forest and the ocean breeze when I was walking.
Extra: a pair of swallows has chosen an odd location for their nest - on a very narrow ledge on the vent just above our basketball hoop.   They've been hard at work and the nest is growing quickly.  I won't be shooting hoops until the babies have fledged!  Wish I could get a better angle on the nest.
