Bearded Iris?

I think this is a bearded iris - but may be wrong, so please correct me if so.
My only outing today (apart from work) was to the bank in Henley-in-Arden, and I had parked near to a very pretty garden behind the Guild Hall., which is where I took a few photos of the lovely  flowers.
I heard today that our youngest grandson (aged just 2) fell over in a park near their home in Taipei, and landed with his palms outstretched, directly on a snail. The shell cracked and cut his hand badly, resulting in 4 stitches. Poor little soldier. It's at times like this that you really miss them and would like a cuddle. 
He came off better than the snail though, who I think has been converted into a slug.
