If you can't beat them...

Bird's Eye Primrose (Primula farinosa)

Following mention by Intothehills  yesterday of Bird's Eye Primrose I felt I should go and have another look for our local plants.    I have checked a number of times in recent years and haven't been able to find them.

So this afternoon Clickychick and I had a run out to the area.  I was surprised to find an number of plants in flower.  They had moved about 25 yards away from where they used to be.  Bird's Eye Primrose is a plant which is rare in most parts of the UK.  The main area in which it is found mainly in a band from the Scottish Border to north Lancashire.
